Hi all i have a 2006 gt. I purchased on craigs list a new 2007 shaker 1000 head unit. I'm looking at the back and it has a different antenna conector. what gives. and where is the new aux input i heard that the 07 have. the radio has a build date of 06/06

 

I don't know about the antenna connector, but the aux port is a remote port that is located in the console on the 07+ Stangs. You have to have the 07 wiring harness to have the aux port. I know the antenna connector is different on the Nav unit. Mine came with an adapter to connect to the standard antenna wire.

 

Went to dealer today with radio and they ordered me an antena cable for 21bucks and said its back ordered for a month. i hope that will fix it so i can use it. went to order touch up paint code t-8 and they called it tungsten SILVER????

 

Don't know what part of Long Island you're in, but I just had a new stereo put in my 2007 at 6th Ave Electronics in Carle Place and had to get an antenna adapter also. They had it in stock. I believe it cost $20. I'm assuming it's the same one you need
