I'm a bit confused, do you remove your passenger airbag and reapply the cover, or does the cover go over the existing airbag?

Hey all, Ive got one of those aftermarket dash kits in a brused aluminum. . . does anyone think the interior would still look good if i replaced the upper dash with the Charcoal weave dash?

The Airbag Cover is replaced. Your Existing Airbag is Retained!

Hey Kevin, I got a question on installing the cluster part? It says when you take that part out (the rings over the speedo and tach), that you have to 1st save the information from the info center before you unplug the gauges. Is this true? If so, guess we can't do this install by ourselves? Just wanted to double check this before I get "serious" in ordering the Bullitt Dash.

That is Just refferring to a GAUGE CLUSTER SWAP. If you were just changing the Bezel you would not need to remove the Gauges anyway. Now for reference if you wanted to remove The Cluster and Simply reinstall the Same cluster back in you Should Not Need a Download. Check the Swap how to in Post 1 for a Complete Member how to. Being a FORD Dealer I have to Say Since you are Dealing With an Airbag that Dealer Install is Highly Recomended. Do it yourself Install is at your Own Risk.

I may not be in the majority here but I really dislike the factory GT500 panels. They're kind of an odd shade of brown and with satin trim rings, they just don't do anything for me other than the desire to stick my finger down my throat.... So knowing the airbag cover can be purchased separately from the airbag was great news!!

I decided to do something different. I wanted retro and found this pic of a '68 interior. Trying to balance black, chrome and woodgrain, I replaced the GT500 panels with black non-IUP replacements with chrome rings, then went to town to make it unique. I just finished a couple of days ago.

So far, three people have seen it in person and it's unanimous. They all think it turned out awesome. My only complaint is it's too shiny....

That looks awesome. I was wondering when someone would do a 68 wood dash. I'll take your old one

It may take awhile for takeoffs to start Floating around! But it will happen! You are wanting the Silver IUP not the Carbon Fiber Correct?

Good Luck!
