Yankees By Birth Southern By the Grace of God!

Gents,
It is a long story but my brother and I have had 9 mustang's between us since the early 90's. We are both from New Jersey and the between the snow/commute and mileage we never really modded our cars. Just took to much of a beating. I have been in NC for 6 years now and he just finally moved down in July. Priority number 1 was getting our mustang passion back on track....Here is the result. Mine is the screaming yellow vert and his is an 06 tungsten coupe. We have leeched a ton of ideas off this board and wanted to share the results. Thanks a million. Let us know what you think.

Cheers!

I think you fellas have a couple of head-turners there! You guys must be proud. Good luck with your rides and enjoy your new environs.

I'm originally from New York (Long Island in particular) so I can sympathize with your reluctance to fund extensive modifications. The weather is an unavoidable factor, and must be considered. Especially if you are speaking of your daily driver! I moved to Richmond, Virginia about 11 years ago and then to northern California last year. The weather here is beautiful, nearly year-round. Perfect for automotive enthusiasts. There's nothing better than an open road on a sunny day.

Good choice on leaving the chin spoiler off the Roush front fascia.
Love the hood, too.

If it helps any, I had mine painted for $200. The fascia itself was $500 including shipping.

Front Fascia

Well it is hard to split out exactly what I spent but. The hood is the CDC Foose hood. So I replaced the hood and the fascia at the same time. I beleive the hood was $1000 the fascia was $550. My body shop stripped the fenders and blended the paint to get a perfect match. Also the center lower sections were painted a flat black to give it some more depth. The whole job in labor was about $1200. Hope that helps.
Cheers

Nice pair of cars! Both look great. Is there any sibling rivalry going on with the mods?

Your cars are look'n great. How are you liking your new home? For the past four years I've been taking my Ducati down to Deal's Gap and I've come to love North Carolina (and the South in general). One of these days I think I'll be relocating too.
