I wondered what my car would look like with the blackout rear panel on a ducktail so I painted it black. As you cn see I have no skills when it comes to photoshop but you get the idea. I was thinking a black out rear panel with the hood painted black on the area that rises. Opinions?

 

Yeah, do the blackout Rich, it looks great on every Stang that's added it. And I'd love to do the hood thing myself.....but what it needs to balance things out is the black deck and black louvers ala the 69/70 Mach's and Boss's. Just my opinion, but I think there has to be something at the back, other than a blackout panel, that completes the look.

But.....with our cars......anything that the owner wants and likes is just fine 'cause it's his/her own statement. How's that for being middle of the road

I have always liked the black out between the tail lights. But with the ducktail, I think it almost looks like it's needed to fully show off the tail.
I would get it done for sure. I think it'll looks awesome!
