Thumbs up

I am thinking about getting my windows tinted this weekend and I have a simple question. Did anyone have any issues with the tint peeling back from the upper edge of the windows immediately after it was done?
With the window going up and down each time you open the door, I'm worried about it coming loose when it rubs against the rubber seal in the door frame. I plan on having it tinted this sunday morning while I'm at work for a couple of hours. The tint shop is about 2 blocks from my office so I can drop it off and get it when I'm done. I plan on just driving it home and letting it sit after that, but that is at least two window cycles. I guess if it does work a little loose on the edges, I can just squeegie it back down and then leave it set to cure.

I had the same question and the tinter said not to worry.Tint was being done while I did paper work.Mine did not come up at all and I had about a dozen stops( to show off my new ride) from the time I picked it up to the time I got home.

I asked the same questions and even asked about the felt strips for the bottom seal. He said the window going up and down shouldn't be a problem and had never had to add the felt strips before, and so far I haven't had a bit of trouble with them. So if they say it will be okay you should be good to go.

I only had the back window and the two Shelby windows done so I do not have that problem.

I've had my tinting for over two months with absolutely no problems at all. Just be sure you get felt put on the inside window channel or you will most likely end up with scratches!
