Did you drill into the louvers or did they come like that i want roush louvers but i dont want to attach with just tape i was curious how you did it thanks
Tape attachment with 3M body tape is the best mount you will find for those things. Clean the area, then wipe with alcohol, then stick it, press firm for about 2 minutes, done. Do not be afraid to do it. Just be sure you have it all lined up before sticking, that's it.
And if you decide to take them off, or you had an alignment issue, they come right off with fishing line as a saw, which doesn't mess up the paint at all, then emblem eraser disc on a drill. Won't even know they were there!
Well known, easily dealt with mounting situation. And way less damaging than any screws. Rust and holes, don't you know. Just don't. Well, at least, I wouldn't...
If you want the 'screwed/riveted in' look, then just put screws/rivets in the louver as you want, with epoxy in the holes, or just under the heads, so they can't come back out. File them down flush with the backside so they don't poke the car, then stick them like normal. Or you can cut off the heads and epoxy them on. Or maybe find just the heads that stick/epoxy on somewhere. Or heck, even buttons like on an old convertible tonneau cover. Lots of ways to get that done!

If you don't want to attach with 2 sided body tape nor mess with any drilling, SilverHorse Racing flush louvers are your only other option. Here's the links and image provided below, if interested. Just be aware if your installation skill levels are limited? You may want to consider having a body shop install them for you professionally.
I had a mobile glass guy install mine on Thursday. it is almost like looking through the glass from the inside. A little distorted because it is Lexan and at an angle. These are a very nice addition. Had these on for about 5 years.
I saw bad1032 had the style I liked and looks like he drilled into them to add screws how do i tag him or message him to see if his came like that or if he just drilled them himself i had ones that were stick on with tape and about two weeks ago after about 6 months of them being on the car they broke off in the wind on the highway thats why i am nervous to just use tape again and it messed up the paint around the window so thats why i dont want to use the sliver horse racing ones they are awesome looking but idk if i want to have around the windows painted to make it so they look good.
The reason yours came off is because the tape used is a lesser quality, or the cleaning of the surface was poor, or the surface itself wasn't flat enough. 3M Ultra High Bond Body Tape is what you need to use. If the tape didn't have 3M on it, there's your issue. If it did, the prep itself is the issue, most likely. Tape can't stick to dirt, wax, rust, extra wavy surface, etc... Could be the part was in tension and was constantly prying itself loose, in effect, so be sure you have a 'relaxed' install, nothing binding.
The screws you see on those are fake, and if they weren't, they'd have to be drilled through the glass and into the metal. You really, REALLY do not want to do this. Not to mention that even if you did, you're taking apart the interior of the car to get to those anyway. Bad idea. But you do you.

Just to clarify, there is no painting around the quarter panel windows with the SilverHorse Racing louvers whatsoever. The reason, the quarter panel glass is completely removed and replaced with the SilverHorse Racing louvers. Therefore there are no areas around the windows that require painting. You can also call SilverHorse Racing with any questions/concerns that you may have about their louvers.
