That's a pick of Vaugh Gittin Jr's car. I saw that at SEMA. I would think they would be available from FRPP at some point in 2010. As of right now, I do not know of where you can get them. I was at SEMA and nobody in the Ford booth knew.

The manufacturer for those wheels is Velocity Motoring.

The article linked by the OP says they are VMR wheels. I did a search and found online distributors for VMR and provided the links above.

Those are HRE Monoblok P40's in a charcoal finish.

The Steeda Q550 is using these wheels also in a brushed finish.

VMR makes a replicas of the HRE's with a bolt pattern for BMW and Audi only. I know the article says they are VMR's but it's correct.

Hey Rich,

That is an ALL Carbon Fiber version of the same car. That car was at SEMA and was $125K. The OP posted a car that will be available, the RTR which will be a $7500 package in 2011. This was all designed with the input of Vaughn Gittin Jr., the US Drift King.

Really? I clicked on the "modbargins.com" link (the 1st link in the group of several) above and it said $999 for EACH wheel!!

We're talking about two separate wheels here. The wheels shown on the Mustang are in fact HRE wheels. That's a very high quality, lightweight forged wheel. The VMR wheel which is a copy is also a decent wheel, but it is not made in a fitment that will work with the mustang. Not without adapters anyway.

The 120mm bolt pattern more closely relates the GM's 5x4.75 bolt pattern vs the mustang's 5x4.5 bolt pattern. Which would equate to a 5x114.3 for metric wheels.

Simply put, unless you can get VMR to custom machine you wheels, you're gonna have to spend the coin on the HRE pieces to get that wheel.

I was talking about this Link: http://www.velocityfactor.net/wwwroo...idproduct=4372, but yes $999.00 is quite a bit per rim!!!!!

Alright I see. The article linked by the OP was just a blog with misinformation. HRE's=$$$$$$$. Could save some dough if VMR would make'em to fit the Mustang.
