Okay, after searching for weeks for aftermarket wheels I finally decided that there's not much out there that looks as good as the Bullits do on a GT for the price.

That said, I'm a bit picky and have been looking for just the right set of Bullits to complement my windveil GT with a silver rocker stripe. Came across these babies online only to find that they don't make them for 05's.

Does anyone know where I can find true bright silver bullits that fit an 05?

Please don't suggest Anthracite. I think the color is a bit too dark, unless all the pics I've seen of anthracite just aren't as professional/brightly lit as this one.

Thanks for the help!

It doesn't say what size you're looking for (17, 18, etc.).

If you're looking for 17s, Ford does offer a silver, polished, and chrome. The picture of the silver looks off to me - I would assume that the bullits are painted bright silver metallic (like the fanblades are). It could be a rendering:

or the 18 x 9's with +36 offset from Cragar.

Ryan and Tom,

Thanks for the ideas, but I came across the wheels you mentioned before and I'm really hooked on that bright silver look of the wheel I posted.

Could just be a lighting issue, but the wheel I posted (made by AFS for 04 Stangs) seems much brighter even in the shaded areas.

At this point I would settle for either 17's or 18's in that hyper silver color.

I may just have to sell my GT because I am now obsessed with accessories and that's just not healthy!!

I have the silver Bullits I bought from the Ford Racing catalog on my Satin Silver. I love them! Here is a few pictures.

Here is a shot of the silver ones compared to the stock GT Bullits.

Janet, those look great. Do you have alink? I'll probably try the Ford website.

BTW- what kind of litigation do you do? I'm also an attorney but in house at one of the big three computer companies.

I would get anthracite (I know, you said don't suggest it), and then get them powdercoated silver.

They are from the Ford Racing catalog, I ordered them through my dealer parts department. I got a smokin deal cause I'm so nice

I'm actually a slacker. My hubby is the lawyer, he's the County Attorney here where we live. It's a good system, he works, I mod the cars B)

PS, here is a close up of the wheels so you can see the metallic color. I was actually taking a picture to show of my nails but I thought the wheels looked cool!

Janet,

That's a great shot! I'm going to check with my dealer tomorrow to see what price they can provide. Looks like you and Ryan were right about the silver bullits from Ford. I also like that I'll be running Ford wheels and not aftermarket wheels.

Nice nails by the way! You should ask your manicurist about some rally stripes, a bit of Zaino, etc...

Art, I liked that fact also, it was a big factor in choosing the wheels. Very funny about the nails though, she's done some painting before on them (usually its little flowers or something) but I Zaino'ed the Stang on Friday and they did get a coating!
