I have purchased the cervinis ram air hood and I am planning on a set of hood pins should I install them before or after the shop paints the hood?

 

Well since you have the option, I would make the holes first and then paint. That way you can have a better finish around the holes. Then again, it doesn't matter much as the plates cover the holes and the hood isn't aluminum (as far as I know).

 

I say before that way if something goes wrong you can correct it then paint

before. if you happen to skid across hood or something w/ sharp object while putting holes in,you wont be Pi$$ed off!!

 

you gonna do the holes yourself?? I only ask cause when I had my stripes painted last summer, I had the body shop install the pins at the same time. Didnt even charge me more neither. May wanna ask.
