Wheel width questions

I'm looking at some american muscle wheels. I wanted to know what size (width) I need for 285s in the back and 255s up front?

I appreciate the assistance.

I have 255's all around on my with the GT500 wheels. They are 18x9.5 inches. The 255's fit just fine and when I wear out the rear tires, I'm going back with 285's.

I would go with a 10 inch wide rim in the rear and 9 inch up front. maybe a 285 40 for the rear and a 255 45 in the front. a +45mm offset should pu the tires flush with the fenders. My sister runs 295 50's out back on a 9 inch rim with +45 mm offest and it is perfect albeit a tall tire. bigcustomwheels.com has a calculator that is great for visualizing tire sizes too. hope this helps!

I run 255s on 18x9 on the front and 275s on 18x10 on the rear.
285s work fine on 18x10s.

Does anyone have any pics from the rear of 275s? The wheels I'm looking at only go to 18x9.5 not to 10" width for 285s.
