Wheel Question?

If you were going to buy a set of deep dish bullitt wheels would you get the 18x9 or 18x10 or stagger them? Also what size tires are most people running on 18 inch wheels? I am looking at these because I have a V6 owner interested in my current 17 inch wheels and tires.

Question to ask yourself, daily driver? The ability to rotate front to back, or accept the respect to replace tires when needed? Think about it, staggered is nice, but you lose a maintenance option as well.

Might want to pick up some OEM take-offs. I'd think you could get some 18" Bullits for a good price, probably even get the rubber with them! And you won't have to worry about rotating the tires because of different front and rear rim widths etc.

Or get some 18" CS-series wheels?

i personally like the staggered look. i have 255 45 18s front and 285 40 18s rear. i believe that is a popular set up. true that you lose the ability to rotate them, but i am not too worried about that since i only put 3000 miles on my car in little over a year.

well, i should say i have those tires sitting in my office. still waiting for my rims to arrive.

We don't need no stinkin' rotation..stagger the Stang

Even the GT-500's come staggered.

Though I like the staggered look, mine is a daily driver (>2k miles per month). So I went with 255x45 on each corner. The ability to rotate tires was a "must have" factor in my decision.

Rich, I'm running a staggered set at 18x9(F) 18x10(R), and mine's daily driven.

Sure you can't rotate them, but they handle great and it's a great look!

I'm rocking 255/45/18(F) 285/40/18(R) KDW2's. When I get a new set of tires, I will be going to the Nitto DR in the back at 305/40/18.

Hey Nick, how's your son? The deal with the V6 owner fell through so I'll stay with what I have and that's OK with me.

He's real good Rich! He's not feeling well right now, so he's a bit fussy. He'll be much better after he gets some sleep though.

Thanks for asking!
