What's up with Sylvania?
OK, last month I put in the Silverstars in the headlights and foglights. Now Sylvania comes out with the "Super Silverstars". Do I really want to take out the Silverstars I just put in and get these new ones? I thought the Silverstars were nice and white and bright enough for me to see skunks crossing the road at night. Can these super-dooper stars be any better?
Also, my Autozone doesn't have the H13/9008's yet. So, I can still save my money for a while.

Just checked the Sylvania webpage. No listing for 9008/H-13 bulbs to fit our cars. So, my bank account is safe for the moment. I can't figure out why Sylvania is delaying production on the H-13's. Earlier this year I was hearing things like they were working out issues with the coating. Well, they have the other models available as Ultras, but no H-13's.

For those of you that want a plug 'n play HID H13 kit, Xenondepot.com has just released their H13 kit. THe bulbs and ballasts are genuine Philips and the focal length of their bulbs matches the H13 halogen bulb which means that light is not coming out all over the place. I put in one of their H11 kits in our Lexus GX470 and it looks totally factory. The only thing that's keeping me from ordering their H13 kit for the Mustang is that in '07, Ford got rid of the bulb shield in their headlight assemblies. The H13 halogen bulb has the coated tip, but the HID bulb does not. I'm afraid of producing too much glare with the '07 reflector assemblies.
