I noticed Trufiber and Cervinis an many other companies made several styles hoods with revomovable and none removable vents. What is the purpose of removable vents anyway? I think it is more work with removable vents since you have to use 3m tape or bolts the vents to the hood.

I would much rather have a none removable vents. What do you guys think?

I asked Trufiber this exact question and Phil said they did it on the first batch of hoods because they thought it would be easier (I guess he meant easier for the mold process) but in the future they aren't going to do removable vents.
