Just wondering what brand of tires you guys are using on your rims both stock/aftermarket. Why did you choose them?

If I change my rims out I'm thinking of going with some Nitto Extremes

Nittos look nice, been wondering which rim tire combos I'm going with as well. Love the look of the gt500 wheels.

BF Goodrich KDW-2's.
I chose them because everything I read about them on the tire websites really praised them. That and it's the cooloest looking tread I've ever seen.
However, they are very noisy. I didn't think they would be as loud as they are. The smoother the road, the louder they are. Doesn't matter as much now since I have SLP Loud Mouths.
If you plan on LOUD exhaust and the roads you drive aren't that great, I'd recomend them.
See sig for pics.

Nitto Drag radials are my preference but my dad always puts BFG Comp T/As on his mustangs.

Bfgoodrich t/a kdw-2's They are rated very well and are more afordable than some of the name brand performance tires out there. They also look very nice and they had the sizes I wanted in stock at the time of purchase.

Fuzion Zri's, 255/50/17's on Mach 1 wheels. Decent ratings. Tread looks cool and the work really well in the wet. Dry traction is better than stock as well. No noticable additional road noise. Had them for over 2 months now, and I am very happy with them. Cheap too, $100 each at Tirerack (I paid $115ea locally, + mounting & balancing). Check my gallery for pics.

If money is not a great concern - I would go for Bridgestone Potenza S-03 Pole Position tires.

I had them on my WRX and they were night and day compared to the OEM tires. They do generate a good bit of road noise - but they're sticky and they do not squeal when cornering.

Downside - 18's run well over $200 per.

These are The Tireracks Best Rated Performance Tire. Goodyears are used on the FORD GT SUPERCAR. The auctual Goodyear on The Gt is Rated 19th. Good Site to check out! Personally I prefer not to have a Japanese Sounding Name tire on my car BTMO.

Ill second that choice! Tire was designed origionally for Europeon sports cars. But works great on anything they fit! Im a little biased of course working for goodyear my whole life. But I speak the truth!

Im running Ventus K104's on my 20" Foose Nitrous Wheels. They are fantastic and I cannot complain about ANYTHING.

-NO road noise what-so-EVER!
-Handling is like a dream in these...I take turns at 60-70mph on Chevy Chase Road here in LA (all curves) and I don't get one single chirp at all, nor do I ever lose any traction.
-Very good look

I have Nitto 450 275/50-17 in back, and 255/50-17 in front. I wanted more sidewall, so I went with the 50-profile tires, and Nitto had the best tire (and price) in that size.

I also like the way they smell at the track...

I have BFG g-force KDW 255/45-18s.

The main reason I got them is for the tread pattern. Great performance dry and wet.

I love them HUGE improvement over the stock tires (most tires would be though).
