I'm getting very little traction with Nitto 555s due to the extra tq back there. Next rear set will be Nitto DRs 305s. I have 9.5" wheels.

Chuck - I gotta say for looks, the Falken 615s in 295/40/18 are just flat out bada** on an 18 x 10 wheel.

But like Dave (MTAS) said - I drive fairly conservative most of the time and my rears were AT the treadwear indicator in 13/14K miles

at the price they go for, it wasn't worth it for me to spend that cash again.

I wound up going with the BF G KDW 2s in 285/40/18 - they are not as impressive as the Falkens but they get the job done gripwise and treadwear wise (18K+ right now including a few runs at the track and still going strong)

I got my wheels and tires mounted, balanced and ready to go through Discount Tire online with free shipping. Its a good way to go if you feel like it.

Thanks Dave. I remember you telling me about the Falkens 2 years ago at the fantasy of Flight show. I have only 10,300 miles and my car is just about 3 years old ,so tire wear isn't a big factor for me. I need a tire that looks sick and one I can afford. I already am gonna have 275/40 on a 8.5 inch rim up front so it definitely has to look bigger than that for the look I'm going for. I was gonna get the tires and rims from American Muscle but they didn't have the Falkens so I just bought the 2 DD 18"x10" for now. Hope to see you at MOSI this year

Impressive grip wise or just looks? I don't expect my Falken's to last very long, but since it does still easily get sideways I don't think at replacement time I'd could go with less grip.

looks-wise the Falkens have it hands down.

Grip? Well I know I have an SC but I was never that impressed with them
(They actually used to make me nervous in the rain)

The BFGs have much better grip in wet and dry

CHUCK - I will definitely be at MOSI so you'd BETTER be
