I have a black GT convertible with the Crimson interior and want to get a CDC light bar. They are now available in Charcoal or Crimson. Guys, which would you purchase? Girls, which would you purchase? Why?

My Car:

Crimson Light Bar

Charcoal Light bar on car like mine.

With those Deep-Dish Wheels. GOTTA Be Charcoal. Keeps the theme mean.

I actually like the red, goes with the interior and calipers.

Have to go with the charcoal. Red would look completely out of place on anything but a red car.

You have the dark arc of the the windshield interior trim, the dark top, the dark pieces of the interior on the sides, everything that "frames" the red seats is dark. The bar should be too.

I'd go with charcoal. I think it looks better matching the outside of the car and not the inside.

I think charcoal, as an artist it goves more balance to the car. The IUP has black accents and this would complete the over all look. But that is just me.

Do you REALLY want a rollbar? It looks pretty slick without one Is it just me or are the rollbars higher on the 05. They seem to stick up more and have an odd shape.

You know, the more I look at them the less sure I am that I really want one. I may just put the money towards more horse power.

I really appreciate all the responses. Thank you all very much.

I'm in the male minority here. I say be different... get the red to match your interior.

Since no lightbar wasn't a choice, I didn't mention it. But now that it was brought up, I say no lightbar also. If you had no spoiler and were thinking about getting a ducktail... you could get the CDC ducktail which would get rid of your stock third brake light. Since you have the spoiler, and are stuck with the third brake light on the decklid, getting the lightbar would give you too many brake lights IMO. Leave the lightbar off... and keep it looking cleaner.

Could always get a rollbar without a brake light in it.

Don't know if CDC (or anyone) makes one with a shape similar to this bar though.

While I think the SN95s needed the lightbar I think the 2005+ ones look a little strange. If they had a lower, stouter lightbar like on the concept then I might change my mind.

My personal vote is for charcoal if you do decide to get one though. Love your ride!
