Thanks but that wasn't a choice ; Just kidding! Red is always a safe color to paint them since a lot of the good aftermarket calipers come in that color. I guess black would match the black wheels but they would probably blend too much and not show them off.

I'm still trying to find caliper paint in my area. Once I do I am painting mine Red and my car is Sonic Blue.

1)Make sure it's all cleaned with brake cleaner.
2)Mask everything off that you don't want painted.
3) I would take the pads off the calipers and paint the back of them black so you get a nice contrast in colors between the caliper and the pads. This highlights the calipers even more.
4) Let them dry for several hours before even touching them and don't drive the car for at least 24 hours to allow it to bond and cure.

I vote red. If you do blue, it would have to be color matched, or it will look off. And even if you get it to match the car... even though it won't look BAD, it may not look very good either. If you are going to paint the calipers, it's either to hide them (black) or to accentuate them with a color like red, yellow, etc.
I painted mine black, but that was to hide them. I have the bullitts though, and unless the sun is shining directly into the wheel, you can't really see the calipers. It makes the bullitts really stand out which is what I was going for.
So, I vote for black (to hide them) or red to make them really stand out. Depends on what you are going for.

Thanks. That pic was before I put on my ducktail though. But you can see how black calipers make the bullitts stand out so much more. I like red though with the upgrade wheels and on blue. That should look sweet.
