Man, that looks aewsome. If Vista had been around for the '05 stangs I would have most likely got that color and went with white stripes.

Ian & Dave, I was all set to order the classic CDC Chin Spoiler, but am holding off, as I have heard from other site members who have it, that the spoiler gets nicked up from stones, and road debris that gets kicked up by cars infront. I am now seriously considering the GEFracing front splitter, as it comes black, it doesn't need to be painted to look good, and it gives the looks of the new Shelby, and Ford GT, as they both have a similar front splitter under the painted lower bumper/valance. Jeff you car looks great . I ordered the same car on a X plan almost on the same day in August. I just recived a call form the dealer stating the the car will be here next week. After looking at your SS Ducktail I purchased one for my new steed form Kevin. If you dont mind me asking what did the dealer charge you to paint the Ducktail? and did you put it on yourself?.

Thanks

Dana

Hey Dana, congrats on your car coming in. Here is a for you. Small world that we ordered the same car, with the same options, and color, (and spoiler delete) on the same day. To let you know, I actually bought the car from myself, as I am a salesman at a Ford dealership. The paiint shop that we use, who did my stripes, also did the spoiler. It included prepping, paiinting, and mounting the spoiler. I had him put it on, since he is a body shop genius. Since the stripes and spoiler were all clumped in one price (and paid for in cash, no writeup, and no repair order, deal between friends) I really don't know how much it would have broken down to. My guess, probably between $70 and $100 to painit and mount, but this is a guess. I suggest have the same guy who will paint it, install it as well. Just better piece of mind. I love this spoiler. So glad I got this one over the others. When you get your car, please post some pics, and send me a PM to let me know where you post them. I can't wait to see them. Good luck with it. You'll soon find out, the wait was WELL WORTH IT.

I was about to get the CDC until I saw the pics of yours with the SS ducktail. Thanks for showing me how my car will look when I'm done with it.

<span style="font-family:Verdana">Jeff thanks for the info. I have been loosing sleep over the past 6 months surfing TMS and looking at all the cool ideas from around the country. My gararge is filled with Steeda spring's Ghost GT wheels 20x10 rear and 20x8.5 for the front and swaybars. The one mod I could not just pull the trigger on was the rear ducktail. I was looking at the one from 3D Carbon and felt that that was the best looking rear spoiler However, after looking at your car it was easy to make my desision. At 46 I am caught up in the bug to build a really cool car 46 going on 16. I have had Hot Rods my whole life and I am looking forward to sharing my mods with my fellow TMS members. I hope to see my car on Monday so as soon as I get the car I will send you some photos.

Thanks for sharing your car

P.S sorry to hear that you can not drive your car due to the snow. We are at a low of 35 here today in Northen California (COLD for CA )

Do you mind reposting the pictures, please?

I'm considering the SSE ducktail.

Brandon, here you go dude. Hope this helps you decide. I love my SSE ducktail, and have gotten tons of compliments on it. I tell you, its a little weird seeing my thread about my car when I posted this back in January revived. You can't go wrong with this spoiler.
