I finally got my car all finished and picked up this past Friday. I posted pics in the Vista Blue section, but I realize not all go in there. So I wanted to post the pics in here as well, as the stripes are all done, and it has the Street Scene Ducktail spoiler all finished. Here are the pics below.

I had the stripes paiinted Performance White. They are 10" in width, with a 2" gap in the middle. They are also cleared, with no edge to them. My guy painted the stripes on the trunklid first, then he mounted the spoiler, taped the stripes off, painted the stripes on it, and then mounted the spoiler to the trunk. I definitely wanted the stripes to run into the license plate area as well. he took off the bumpers, hood and trunk lid, to make sure the stripes went around the ends of each piece. The side stripes are from 2005-Mustang.com, the other name for Graphic X-press. Very happy with them. These stripes are very nice in material. To tell you, when the painter called the service manager to say they were done, and he came out to the showroom to tell me, I couldn't wait to drive over and see how they came out. I was totally blown away with the job he did on it. I had a smile from ear to ear, when I first saw the car. You should see the looks I get now with this car. I am so glad I had these done. It is everything I had dreamed of when I ordered this car back in August. Now if the 18" of snow will just go away , I can get it out of the garage. Hope you all like the pics.

Jeff, they look great and so does the ducktail
Your dealer did the paint job? You're very fortunate to have such a qualified dealership. Around here, dealerships aren't known for their body/paint qualifications. It'd be nice to get everything done in one place. I know what you mean about a new mod then snow. My JBA exhaust was installed on Saturday only a few hours before we got dumped with 25 inches of snow. Snow can't melt fast enough!

Darn you! Just when I decided to go with black (or, ok maybe even silver) on my Vista, now I see this and I want white again. Man, I'm just gonna throw a dart and let luck decide.......
Great looking car, very nice!!

I want to thank you all for all the great compliments. I love this site, and I wanted to share my car with you all. The stripes came out better than I could have hoped for. I still can't believe this is my car, and not one that I see at a show, and wish I had it. Now only if the snow can go away. It's making the roads a mess, with salt and water. I guess it will stay locked up in the garage until it gets nicer out. Just my luck. Pick up my 1st ever new car, and I can't even drive it. Tom281, sorry to make you change your thinking. I too was wavering between silver and white. I am SO glad I went with white. More in line with Shelby's racing colors.
BuzzyStang05, be happy to take some more shots of the ducktail, once the snow melts away. The weather is getting warmer, with rain this Friday, so most of it should be washed away. If it is, I'll take her out of the garage and get some more shots for you. I have it parked at my dad's place (garage is full at my place), and the driveway infront of his workshop is only stone, so its a bit sloppy.
Blackhat97-I had the body shop my dealership uses for factory work. He isn't one of our guys, but an independent, but he is GOOD! Plus he made me a deal on the stripe job that I'll be forever thankful for.
Mike, thanks for all the nanners. I got your PM, and I'll be sending you one later. Thanks for the compliments. If we go to a show, the stripes on both our cars, will get some attention for sure.
Mustangspeeder. No plans on tinting windows, not my thing. The lowering of the car, I thought of at first. But more and more I think of it, I don't want to mess with the factory settings. My thought, even though it is a bit high, the factory has it set like that for a reason. Plus, I'd have to check with my insurance company, as some can drop you if you mess with the suspension setup at all.

Looks great. My car finally has a date schedule to go into the shop so at least now I know what it will look like once they put the ducktail on.

John, thanks for the compliments. Of all the Sonic Blue GT's on here, yours looks the best. . Can't wait to see yours with the Street Scene Ducktail on it. I tell you, in person, it changes the whole look of the car compared to the factory spoiler, especially from the back. I love the rear shots of my car with it.

Man, that looks aewsome. If Vista had been around for the '05 stangs I would have most likely got that color and went with white stripes.
Any thoughts of a chin spoiler to finish her off?
