Vinyl tail light bezels in black? where?

I want to outline the tail's as 3 separate lights, only in the grooves, not overlapping out onto the surface. Would prefer vinyl because I want to go cheap, and I also like the depth of the grooves which the black plastic inserts would be flush with the face of the lights. I am pretty sure I've seen vinyl stickers, but can not seem to find them now.

$25 plus 13 for shipping, and you don't have to labor over making the templates

I want black, stickers, and not change the depth of the grooves between lights

I haven't seen any vinyl tail light bezel stickers at all.
These are a plastic bezel which are probably going to fill the grooves as well. http://www.mossmustang.com/Shop/View...eIndexID=57988
You could always try a vinyl shop and see what it would cost for them to make them, though I'm sure you would have to make a template for them first.

A quick and low cost alternative would be to get some plastic adhesion promoter with black paint. Mask off the tail light lens and spray the grooves to get the desired effect. (I'm considering this myself)

Sorry I couldn't be more help to you. Let us know what you decide.

The product from Moss listed in the above post sounds like what your looking for. It's only 1/8" thick. I like the look.

I like those from Moss, I wonder how they would look on black?

If you're not averse to a little work, you might find the following thread will give you the look you're after.

Thought about that too, just not sure if it's a good idea to spray black paint on top of spray tinted lights? Might have separation issues?

Can you tell yet that I'm tough to please with my vehicles?

Sounds exactly like the rest of us, LOL

Regarding the spray tint: would you be able to clean the tint from the grooves so the paint would adhear better?
Now I can see why you wanted the vinyl in the first place

Not sure how I would get it just out of the grooves.. any chemical I would be afraid of getting on the face of the lights, and I'm not taking sandpaper to just the grooves, again worried about the face of the lights. I have a note out to a mustang vinyl supplier, see if they could or would make this product.

Here's an option: Buy a couple of lenscovers and experiment. They are plastic not gold.

Not sure how lens covers would in anyway fit what I am looking for as described above.

My experiences....

I went with the vinyl first and they looked fair (and were a b*tch to put on). Bought on Ebay for about 20 bucks. After awhile though, I noticed they were just not enough "defined" so I bit the bullet and got the black plastic ones from Moss Mustang. They look MUCH better than the stickers and are quite thin and simply define the space between lights...

I think they were like $40 or so...

I agree! Preferably with a close shot showing the depth of the bezels as compared to the lights
