I was wondering if anyone here has applied either vinyl stripes or any other vinyl on a stang and has had vinyl that had small creases in the vinyl. I got a blackout vinyl piece, and it has some small creases in the vinyl. The guy who sold it to me (a la ebay) said they will come out when i apply it and that when I squeegie it the creases will come out. Is that true? I don't know if this guy is trying to pull one on me or not. I'd hate to have to apply it, then take it off. He's told me to wait after a few days when the application is dried and that the bubbles will come out of the vinyl.

Cyoon, from my experience with bad vinyl installation.. i have one viynl decal on my rear window that' had a small crease for 5 months now..
after looking at it and inspecting it closely, i figured the only way out was to take the side with the crease off (using a razor blade or something) then gently stick it back on..
but i had a feeling this will only make things worse.. so i kept the crease on :S

You're not going to know until you install it.
A mild fold when the vinyl is still on the backing will
most likely be ok. If its a sharp crease the vinyl has
stretched and you could squeegee it smooth but still
see a line. I would send it back if thats possible.
