V6 Rocker stripes
My wife and I were out last night looking at all the different mustangs at dealerships and everytime we saw a V6 with the "MUSTANG" on the rocker she said "That looks sharp" After seeing a few, I have to kind of agree with her. All the pictures that I've seen over the last several months seemed to make it look kind of cheezy, but now, in person it looks kind of cool. My question is this, can these be ordered seperate or installed by the dealer on the GT? Just curious what everyone thinks.
The obivous answer is to call a few dealers and ask them. As I am sure you know, it is not a factory option for the GT. An aftermarket detailing company will put MIKE GT-300 on there if you want them to. Haha. That is funny, but my point is an aftermarket sticker company will do whatever you are willing to pay them to do to your mustang. Just make sure you don't do anything ricey to it.
I went to my dealer to test drive a 05 Mustang GT today. This car had the Mustang Stripe on the rocker panel. I asked about it because this stripe was not on the car last week, the dealer added the stripe. Stripe is available in all colors and the cost is 130.00, this may be shown in the mustang option booklet.
This stripe package is different then the one offered on the V-6

i was also looking into this. and i found that you can order them in different styles/colors from autothing.com here is a direct link http://www.autothing.com/Products/Decals/F...tang-rocker.htm
you can even get them with other words besides mustang, like Bullitt, Cobra, Roush, Saleen, Steeda, SVT, or no words at all.
hope this helps.
