Noticed a guy on Ebay selling GT front ends including the Grille and rocker panels for about 350-400 bucks painted. . No wiring harness but I wonder if it will fit on my V6 without modifications. Apparently these are take-offs from someone modifying the GT's. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...TRK%3AMEWA%3AIT

Could be Saleen take-offs. I'm sure it's possible though. Good luck if you try it. I'd like to see how it comes out.

==Could be Saleen take-offs==

Indeed they are. Cascotech has been selling various parts on eBay that are takeoffs from GTs being converted to Saleens. I bought a pair of GT mufflers from him, they were in brand new condition. He ships quick too.

I've read a post on the V6 forum where a guy did this. As I recall, he said he had to replace the inner fenders as well. There's another guy on eBay that sells a wiring harness for a driving light conversion, it runs about 100 bucks (the V6 harness does not have pigtails for driving lights).

Here's the thread:

And here's the post:

"Bought the bumper from Mike, yes it is an easy install-however you will need new foreward fender liners (cheap) valance between the bumper and radiator core support (cheap) and-due to the fact that they are totally different-a GT grille (reasonably priced), I also needed to transfer the end reinforcements from the old bumper to the new. I'm planning to do it as well, so far what I have found is that you also need to replace the front forward fender liners, the bumper absorber and add a valance under the car that attached the bumper cover to the radiator bottom. for some reasons the valance is not installed on V6, so I don't know why there's one on the GT.

I'm still looking at the official Ford part numbers and pricing for these items.

Thanks,
