Update Update: Saleen PJ/Heritage front fascia redux

I had some serious problems with my prior paint (not Hardcore Mustangs fault, they don't do the paint), so I dropped it off for a redo. Decided to go with a cleaner look, and while I was at it, I fixed two of the most commonly griped about appearance issues with my car...let me know what you think!

It's lookin' great!

I may get that... but I'd remove the fogs and put some in the lower fog lamp holes, then put a totally black honeycomb grille... which currently is made of unobtainum so far as I've seen, so I'll have to create one.

I wonder if an old '65 honeycomb is big enough to fit that opening...

That's a pretty hood too. You've got a nice 'Stang there.

Very agressive. I've never really cared for that hood till now. Looks VERY good.

Hopefully it'll be available soon. (this pic is from the new accessories catalog)

LOVE the look you've put together. Looks MUCH better now. Probably the only Mustang I've seen that I like better than mine. But I agree it's needs a fogless grille.

Very nice!

What's the story with the headlight strips? In the first set of photos you have them on, and in the new photos there are off... Are they part of the bumper or just a stick on piece? Did you have 'em shaved off?

Very, very nice! I'm digging the PJ front end / Saleen hood combo more and more. Now, if only my PJ front end would come in.

Very nice, how do you get the Saleen fascia without the headlight splitters?

That looks badass...After seeing that almost makes me wish I didn't go with the GT500 front end already. I could have went with the PJ front end instead.

all: I had the shop that did the paint shave the splitters, looks cleaners. They are solid on the mount post, so it isn't a problem. They didn't even charge me.

However...I sold the car. GT500's rule.

I'm very interested in finding the rear chrome trim for the car as well.

This kit does not look like an exact replica of the PJ/Hertiage rear fasica. That one requires square exhaust tips if I recall correctly. I'm still waiting to see if Saleen is offering a conversion kit of their own.

That's good to know. The PJ/Heritage front end is the only one I've really be sold on (besides the GT500), but the splitters were a deal breaker. I knew it could be done, but I didn't know how much work it would be. Since they're solid, I'm sure they're very easy to delete. I'm sold now. thanks! Any idea how easy it would be to put fog lights in the lower holes so I could go with a Bullitt grill?

Thats the same question i have, would it be possible to put GT500 fog lights in the lower grille? It looks like Saleen created the Heritage grille lower section right off of the GT500 mold, and the top half off the regular GT Mold. The Fogs should fit? But i have no idea if the diameter is the same. I can get the diameter of the GT500 fog light holes if someone can provide the same for the Saleen grille.

This is the bumper I want!! The built in mini chin spoiler is perfect. If you ding it up, I'm sure you can purchase that piece from Saleen for not much money. Now, if only Ernie from Hardcore Mustangs would pm me back? I know he sells Saleen parts AND sells them pre-painted too. Has anyone dealt with him other than SVT above?
