Thumbs up The Unveiling (Final Exterior Mods to Begin)

Today I spent the day getting my interior pieces in as well as tdbrown75 and I put the rocker panel stripe on. The still hasn't been properly cleaned, so please pardon the dust. Also, some twit stole my driver side rear wheel center cap, so I have to replace that this week.

Her she is, hope you like it as much as I!

TMI Industries Pony Interior and red carpet

GT500 steering wheel, painted console, red stiched brake boot and gear shift boot, cup holder bezel, gabber pony shift ****

281 Pony Emblem addition, Bob White Decals rocker panel stripe

Thanks again for following my progress. Trunk and stereo is next and I also have to detail out the engine bay and get all my bling back on it.

Rims are 18 x 8.5 Konig Beyond. The car is lowered with the FRPP Struts/Shocks and springs.

The front bumper is the Shelby CS6 bumper. Purchased it from Shelby Performance. Seems that they no longer include the lower grille so buy from a 3rd party that does. Took a bit of work for the shop to get it fitted well, but all their hard work paid off.

My favorite parts that you added are the Foose ducktail and the painted mirrors!

Looking great man. Only thing I would suggest is to also paint the center stack (the flat piece that surrounds the radio and ac controls) black to match the center console. It would tie it together without being "too much". Other than that, I'd say the interior was perfect.

DarkFireGT, I already have purchased a center stack off of eBay for just that reason. I should get it mid-week. Won't have time to get it painted and installed before my first show next Saturday, but I realized after having the console painted that the center stack needed to be painted as well.

Thanks!

Love the rear shots. I'm actually going to go with the same rear bumper. It adds so much personality to the cars rear. A perfectly worked out theme. Planning goes a long way.

My only suggestion, minor one, is some GT500 pedal covers. That would set off that already great interior

Any big performance mods planned? Or is she done?

I actually have some Ultimate Pedals coming this week:

With this finish:

As far as performance goes... I'm limited on funds until I sell my house. Once funds free up I have to decide if I want to go FI, or just go NA with cams and such. I love the sound of CAMS and since I don't go to the track, just show and shines, I think CAMS would give me the muscle car sound and feel that I love. I don't need 450 rwhp, this car is already faster than I need, so I think I'll go NA/CAMS/LTH, and bolt ons.

Danny - hate to point out, think you might be missing a center cap on the rear drivers wheel. I do like your center caps, think you mentioned they were custom, or did you get them from somewhere - if so, WHERE?

Someone stole one of the center caps while it was at the upholsterer's. I have gone to Dallas Mustang and purchased another Scott Drake replica 66 GT center cap. I have to clean off the old JB weld, and mate them back up. Out $29 and time to replace just the one.

simply awesome it really has come together quite well. I love the seats they look fantastic and your entire interior goes together perfectly. I have to agree though that the rear 3/4 shot on it is by far the best it is simply gorgeous. On a side note you and darkfire have convinced me that I need those side mirrors and you have convinced me to call up think3d for a set of those 281 badges. Absolutely perfect!
