Well I really hope these lighten up when I wet sand and clear them but I just put on VHT niteshades on my taillights and I'm afraid I over did it. I put on 3 coats. Here's a pic of the 3rd tail-light for comparison. You can see part of the tail in the pic as well.





They are close to the vinyl covers in the front but I'm thinking ticket city now

 

How do you plan on making the lighter?

 

Well I'm hoping when I wet sand them a bit before putting clear on.

i like it. i also like how u have the license plate.

 

They don't look too bad. Mine look pretty dark, but when you hit the brakes they light up almost as good as before.

I'd hook a light upto them before you sand them too much.

 

Same thing happened to me lol except I didnt realize until they were already done and on the car gl wet sanding em down!

edit: I agree with Jason about hooking up a light to test em first before you both wet sanding.
