Well, seems like I'm not the only one with these same ideas. I came up with almost the same thing awhile back. I talked to a company that does custom work. They are working on the kit, as we speak! It should be finished in about another 1 or so. The company said I was the 1st one they have spoken to about the 05 Mustang. So, they went to a local dealer and took measurements and are building the kit. Once they are complete, they will test fit the kit on an 05 Mustang, just to be sure it fits perfectly! Then, I will be sent my kit. Once I install it and send them back some pictures & feedback, I think they will then be able to offer this kit to anyone. You'll be able to choose any color combo you like! Here is what they are working on for me. After taking some measurements of the rear spoiler, I decided that the center stripe will be 20" wide and the outter stripes are going to be 2" wide, with a 1" space. The outside stripes are going to be a seperate kit, so you can change the spacing if you like. You might even be able to order the center & outside stripes in different sizes, but not sure yet?
Stay tuned
