I don't personally care for it, but what they did looks to be professional.
To each his own. Could be a work in progress and maybe opinions will change as it developes?

To give credit where credit is due, it took some big ones to do that.
I dont care for it, but i wouldnt go as far as saying it looks like a**, i mean, this is THIS guys car, and opinions should be accepted, but to outright call it trash is almost wrong. I dont like it, but im not going to trash the guys car. Oh, and you have to love the maturity shown by a grown man, huh???lol
I think it looks nice and professionally done. It's kind of hard to describe, but it seems the yellow just takes over the black. Maybe a bit more black would even it out. I don't think I would take that approach to my car, but I'm not going to slam the guy for his paint job.
Looks like someone and his friends hit the evil bong before they painted the car! You know, there's a reason they don't come from the factory like that. Like.. no one would buy it.
Maybe this guy likes being the center of controversy.

I don't think it's all that bad, but could have been better.
There was a Torch/Perf Red SN95 that received a similar treatment I remember seeing that looked most awesome, so I think it could be improved upon a bit.

While the paint job itself appears to be well-done, I would not want to vary the scheme to that degree. Just a personal preference.
But I think it would be a perfect car for one of our TMS members who post: "BLACK or SCREAMING YELLOW... I cannot decide!"

I probably shouldn't post anything negative as I went with a sort of 2 tone theme myself, but I'm with many of the others who haven't really liked it....I agree that it might have looked great if the roof had been left alone...I love both black and yellow, I just think there is a limit to how much you should run them together..still a great car beneath it all and I certainly wouldn't say it looks like **** like some people did...The wheels look great on it and I hope he's a happy camper as it would be very costly and difficult to change the black now....IF he ends up on a million magazine covers and I don't, then we'll know I was the idiot for not putting enough black on mine....LOL

i agree with steve. I think it looks pretty good. Reminds me of some of my two tone chops. I do wish the black went over the front hood lip though.
Although if it had been my yellow car I'd have done it like this

swingle007, your car is tasteful in all senses of the words... I think this guy did it more just to claim he was the first one, God forbid their be other combos like that one.
I do like that boss striping, now that is tasteful, the bumblebee look is definitly not... must have been a mopar guy... thinking of the Rumble Bee (that overpriced souped up Ram)

It's a Legend of Zelda map, that is pretty cool. I'm not old though, 25, but I had the game.
