I searched and didnt see this posted anywhere so here it is. I was on another site and came across this guys car, its two tone yellow and black I think it looks pretty sharp, minus the yellow lip left on the front of the hood, but all in all something new. Worth checking it out and here it is.

I can't open the pics cause I'm not registered over there (unless I'm doing something wrong) and don't plan to be.

But.... I did read through the posts. turbochad seems a bit over sensitive to folks that don't like his paint job.

I'm really glad I haven't seen any exchanges like that on TMS! (very junior high)

The black hood and spoiler would be alright, but I don't think the rest of it "flows"... If I were going to do it, I'd do it with carbon fiber, and even that runs the risk of going over into ricer area.

wow, you really weren't kidding there, that dude deserves a beatdown for acting that immature about it. I felt like letting him in on a lil secret, that in no way is it "ballsy" to paint a car with only 200 miles on it. Just plain foolish. But then again, a fool and his money... soon parted. Not to mention their thread closed.

I think the paint job was tastefully done.

 

Yeah, I think the black roof was a bit too much. Just the hood and spoiler would have been enough - it would give the "GTR" look

 

Sorry, but I don't care for it. The black top is just too much.

 

i agree with steve. I think it looks pretty good. Reminds me of some of my two tone chops. I do wish the black went over the front hood lip though.

I thought it was interesting my wife just said weird. I hope more people explore the two tone look in other colors. A big thanks travste for posting, I didn't want to join that forum.

I don't personally care for it, but what they did looks to be professional.
To each his own. Could be a work in progress and maybe opinions will change as it developes?

 

Jeez, come on people it does not look that bad. Roush did something similar. Personally not my style but too each his own. I would have waited at least a few more months before I did something that extreme but they did a good job!
