Here's a picture of my new parts I installed last weekend. It's the SHR blackout panel and rear medallion with the Shelby CS Supercharged logo and the slotted taillight covers from Moss ...

Joseph , that looks great ... I personally think it would look even better with the SHR panel around it , but then I'm biased ...

That's pretty unique, I like it! Now you just have to Jack Sparrow-ify your cobra badges

I'm serious, seriously, that'd be sweet

Horseshoe

I modified the Blue Windveil a bit thinking this fits the theme better.

Center Steering Wheel Emblem Replacement

I don't know about that steering wheel cap. I think it might be too tricky to work with that thing. It appears to be possible to pry it off, but you may not ever get it back just right. Or, get something else to lay down so well in that recess. I think I'm OK with the running pony for now.

Hey I have just purchased the saleen center steering wheel cover kit which has a 3m tape cut out covering the tribar pony, I am going to see if mtm unlimited can make me a disk similar to the saleen disk to replace or cover the stock gt emblem. Someone else has done this by removing the emblem off the airbag steering wheel and filing down underneath, thought that was to dangerous and will keep everyone posted.

If anyone else has done this please post pics, some have just placed a decal over the saleen disk, I'm going to have a disk made for my BJ

I actually have debated getting a blackout panel for the rear, or either have it painted when I paint the rest of the car.

Well I actually finally got rid of the Cobra badges, took them off when I did the Faux Gas cap, I have GT badges on it and I painted them black.

Nice move going back to the GT fender emblems Joseph. And the black is a very nice touch too.

After watching this thread, decided to paint Faux cap flat black with an LED MOD like the example shown. Got some ideas, but will work this out so it looks well done when fiished. Not sure what to do with the center emblem, but if I place an emblem, I think it would look nice illuminated also...

Could be lighted with parking lights or with third brake light... not sure yet.

Trunk Medallion

Here's a pic of what I just finished today. Took off the fake gas cap and replaced it with the pony emblem from the GT grill.

I'll throw mine up here, now that I have a few photos of it.

Blacked out the center section, and overlaid a 1968 GT badge on it. It matches the same badges that I have on the front fenders. The badges are concave (to match the center caps it came off of), so I had to flatten them out as best I could. The most tedious part was applying thin strips of double-sided trim tape before putting them on the car.
