Very nice touch. Good size on the letters so it doesn't look too gaudy. Yes, they're a pain to keep clean, but well worth it IMO.

do you have any info on your spacing Greg?
As a matter of fact I do have some info I saved from the hard work another member put into it...

Here's the info that I originally used to figure out the proper measurements for the trunk lettering. I had to improvise a little bit because our trunks are a little different in size than the originals. But I'm pretty close. Once you've gone over it, I'll lighten the load and give you the measurements from my car 'cause it took quite a bit of time to translate the historical info into actual application.

Here's the website to the official instructions.

http://www.mustangmonthly.com/howto/28798/index1.html

And here's the easy version based on the measurements of what's on my car:

Place your T dead centre in the middle with even spacing between the top of the rear panel lip and the bottom of the 3rd brake light line. Use masking tape to mark an even bottom line.

Then put the rest on. The following measurements are based on going from the middle of the reference letter to the exact middle of the next letter:

From the centre of the T, go left 4.5" and place the middle of the S at exactly 4.5". From the centre of the S go left 4 5/8" and place the middle of the U at exactly 4 5/8". From the middle of the U go left 4 5/8" and place the middle of the M at exactly 4 5/8". From the middle of the T go right 4.5" and place the ,middle of the A at exactly 4.5". From the middle of the A go right and place the middle of the N at exactly 4 5/8". From the middle of the N go right and place the middle of the G at exactly 4.5".

That's it. The small discrepancies in measurement account for the different widths of the letters.

Lots of luck - they're a classy touch!!

That really is an awesome look. The more I see it the more I like Legend Lime, it and Windveil Blue are my favorite colors on these cars.
