Sorry - stick on. Took a while to figure the spacing. I tried a few different layouts and with the stripes, I ended up with about 5 7/8 inch spacing... That puts the S and the A in the center of the stripes (which are 10" wide).
Seemed to look the best to me, anyway.

Chris - Like I said in the preview; Class with Flash! Very nice.
Okay heres that interior shot I got for you... I'm not sure if it's pasted correctly.
" I got a 'GT' emblem (that are used on the front 1/4 panels) and applied it to my dash nearer to the pass. door. I wanted riders to know it was a GT -although it's kinda obvious by the way she drives. I'll have to post it on Brads and start a trend. A co-worker saw mine and asked me about it - now he's got one in the same spot!"

I got them from Vail's Classic Cars - http://www.vailsclassiccars.com/.
I live 10 minutes from Vail's, so I did not have to order. The part number is 2153172.
The cost was $21.95.
The company that made the letters that I purchased is KS Reproductions. http://www.ksreproduction.com/
I think there is a company called Scott Drake that makes them too...
Before you peel the backing off and stick them on, I would use a little clear Scotch tape to hold them on the trunk and try a few different spacings to see how they look to you.
When you find a spacing that works for you, remove the Scotch tape, peel the backing and stick 'em on.
