TruFiber GTS Hood on GT/CS pics

External mods completed. The hood flutters at 60+ mph, so I may be forced to get hood pins that I don't want.

Car looks great man, I just cannot get into that hood. A little too bulky for me.

I don't think that hood is too bulky at all. I guess that is just my opinion. I look at the Cervini hood like that and that one does look a little bulky to me. That paint job looks great especially with that hood. That is the hood I am saving for now.

Does the GTS hood come with windshield spray relocator or is that something you have to buy extra?

The more and more I look back to this thread, the more the hood has begun to grow on me. Maybe if I come back 5 more times I'll be in love with it. haha

By the way, are those HDR images?

Looks great and I know how you feel about the hood pins. I really didn't want them either but the flutter problem was started to cause a few issues around the area where I cut the hole for the shaker. A guy at work asked me yesterday what the 2 bumps were on my hood. I just told him that they are car nipples.

You sure your bumpers are adjusted well. Everyone I have heard with that hood doesn't have a problem with flutter. Now I did talk to someone the other day that said he was at 150 testing his super charger . He said he saw a little bit of flutter. I thought that was a real good excuse for going 150, do you?

Yup, I just had the center catch and bumpers adjusted. The hood is now sound up to about 70 mph - where I spend 95% of my time. No need for hood pins. Thanks.

I may be able to help you with your choice. My hood does look fantastic, but it required massive amounts of prep work - It had a tendancy to warp. The body shop had to redo the body work on it at least once before finishing it. I took it to a body shop that I knew did high quality work on both bodywork and paint.

The prep work and paint on my hood alone cost me about $2000.00.

You made a solid choice with Cervini's. I just had to have the TruFiber hood, and I was willing to pay dearly for it. I'll never see that money again, but I smile every time I see what it brought me. It was worth it.

Nope. I can tell those are taken with a point and shoot by the tags. Must be that beautiful island sun.

Great looking car.

Well done! It ties in nicely with the front and rear bumper upgrades.

Hood looks great and so does the car. I am digging the hood. Did you consider painting the vents a satin black to highlight the black at the GTCS bumper and rear diffuser? Just an idea. Also Are you thinking of getting stripes. That and the vents would look absolutely sick.
