Does anyone know where to get a triple stripe like the one in the Stripe Painter tool? (option 3) .
I've looked at the Bob White and Graphic Express web sites but they don't have it. I've also searched the forums but could find nothing related. Any help is appreciated.

I would take that picture to the local sign/vinyl shop where you might go anyway to have them applied. They should be able to cut you some cutom stripes for a reasonable price. Unless you were thinking of having them painted, in which case I'd show the pic to the painter and they can duplicate them.

Do a search for Super Snake Stripes. I've seen a few on here.

Only a few forums on the Super Snake Stripes and they look real sharp. I was hoping to go vinyl first and may do as Blake suggested but need to find a decent vinyl shop in the area. Would like to know what to put with Tungsten though.
Thanks for the advice

Do black stripes with silver pin striping. That would look great on the Tungsten.
Or vice versa.

I talked to a couple of vinyl guys before I had mine painted and they all said that they couldn't make the cut on the vinyl to look good. 3 stripes and your paint.....

I have a feeling Vinyl would be difficult for this kind of stripe if you are going for the wide center stripe. I had mine painted because of that and have been very happy with the results.

Wow, very very sweet cars but I'll see what my local guys are like for paint or vinyl. Also, seeing the 18" Chrome Bullits on Doug's car has me all of a flutter. I had decided on the 17" painted with Tungsten but get this, my dealer actually ordered 2 cars for me, one with the new 18" chrome bullits (no idea as to delivery date) and one with the std 17" painted (due end September). Appreciate the feedback guys.

Doug, where did you get your car painted? I see the plate is from Santa Clara, CA. I'm based in Tracy CA and work in San Jose.

I had mine painted at Warren's Body Shop in Sunol. He specializes in collector / classic cars and did a very good job. Let me know if you need more information and I can pass it along.

A cruise would be a lot of fun - there's got to be a lot of '05 members in the bay area. I'm not sure about the 18th - I have a bachelor party in Tahoe coming up and I think that is the weekend. Regardless, we should be able to get a lot of TMS members in the area together for a cruise.

As for the stripes, I had them painted by Warren's Body shop in Sunol. He is a friend of the family that runs a custom paint / body shop and deals with a lot of classic restorations so I felt at ease having him work on my baby!

Nick,

I think I saw you on 680 not too long ago - I was in the wife's Explorer at the time but I remember seeing the plates and thinking that I remember somebody on TMS had those plates - now I see you are in Fremont so it must have been you
