TRFC #68 Hood Update!!

I thought I would make a new thread on this. I just talked to Phil at Alliance about making the hood without the Ram Air channel to the stock air box location. He wants everyone that would be interested in this version of the hood to e-mail him at Phil@alliance247.com with the reason why you want this version and some pictures of your engine bay. Phil said he needs this to go to his bosses and justify this version. So everyone that would like this hood with the front vents venting air directly into the engine compartment for cooling send Phil and e-mail and maybe we can get this hood made.

Also spoke with Phil this afternoon ( must have been taking a lot of call from us on TMS..LOL). They may produce the 68 hood, with a different heat extractor, not like the louver the original had, but more like a grove with a screen. Something to get off the line in a hurry while they figure out the louver heat extractor. If there is enough interest they can have that style out in a few weeks. I am in a bit of a bind with my car getting repaired, so I will go with this style.

Here is the post to what I mean, it is like the Shelby hood's heat extractors, not the louver style.
