I would say... Ducktail Spoiler and your car would be PERFECT!

Hey the car looks awesome, one of the best looking 05's i've seen thus far. How much did you pay for those wheels? I also think a ducktail would go great with your car.

 

Paid $300.00 plus for each wheel and then the tires on top of that. :scratch: I'm thinking about selling the set once again, putting up on e-bay or something, and trying to find something different. I haven't settled in on the look I want in my car...I guess I'm like that, very picky that's why I respect everyone's opinions and ideas.

 

You know... I live the idea of Halibrands, but the Cobra III's weren't my favorites. I actually liked some of the clones of the old ones better. But I have to say, seeing them on your car, they look pretty darn good. I like them a lot more on the car than in the catalog.

Well... your car looked great before. These wheels are a major upgrade over that. So I guess you can try again and see if you can top yourself, yet again.

If it was me, I would be happy with the look and save my duckets for performance upgrades in the future... or a ducktail.

 

Your car looks fabulous, I don't think it can get too much better. I'd agree that instead of putting more money into another set of wheels, you could put it into the ducktail.

Darn it guys!! You're supposed to say "dude, those wheels stink!" Now, I'm really confused. lol! I think to top it off all I need is the Spinners that come with these wheels, I think that's what's missing...don't you? They are on eternal backorder and hope to have them in a couple of weeks. I have a ducktail ordered so I'll post pics as soon as I get it mounted.

 

- Rims are fine... and yes... w/ spinners.... it'll make em look even better
- Which spoiler have you ordered?
- Have you gotten rid of the rocket stripes yet?

Your car w/ the ducktail + removal of rocket stripes = One BADAZZ v6!

 

I think the rocker panel stripes look fine. Just my opinion.

Edit: went back and looked at the pics again and I could go either way on the rocker stripes. I think they look great, but it would look clean without them too. But right now it's got that Shelby GT500 thing going on and it looks awesome.

 

Looks great, good choice in tires too Dunlop`s are the only tires I will put on my car..

That's the one I went with.

If it's not too late, don't order through CDC. Order through partshopper.com, you'll get a cheaper price and better customer service on the same spoiler.

If I were to put on a ducktail on my stang.... i'd go with the CDC ducktail as well.
