Anyone have thier tires turned so the lettering is facing out? Just curious to see how this would look. Pics please.
Thanks,
Matt

Many will tell you white lettering on the outside is a no-no. It is kind of 70's musclecar retro...may work on the 05, not sure though. I would have to see a pic.

The Mustang GT at the 2004 NAIAS had 'white lettering'. I like it.

I had my Pirelli's turned around because I hated the way they looked with armor all on them stock.
I just took this picture...hope it helps since it's dark outside.

My '69 almost always had white letters facing out. Mostly Firestone back then.

I may not be able to resist the urge to display white letters again. Sure it's retro, and maybe a little bit boy-racer (I'm 45 now). But I may not be able to resist the I'll get when I see them.

I think I would lean with the white lettered tires on the car, would love to see some real pics. I think it would really work on the car. May do that on my next set of tires.

I think white lettering looks great!
The trouble is getting a real good high performance tire with the white lettering is near impossible. BFgoodrich (the only tire i will ever buy) has white lettering on thier Radial ta but not the KDWs wich is the tire i really want. The readial TA are great tires but the aggressive tread of the KDW's has me salivating

but white lettering is in my heart for sure

Very true, I am not sure if I have seen any high performance tires with white letters. I guess it is only trendy for the suv and truck people. My F250SD has raised white letter tires. Maybe someone will produce them?

Maybe Cooper will come out with a Mustang size "Copper COBRAS" and then you can get the Cobra hood and fender decals. Well maybe the Coopers in the right size would be enough.

Those Goodyear Nascar Street tires with the Yellow letters would look tuff on a Yellow 05 stang!

Here's somebody's photochop of black with white stripe and lettering. I thought was pretty cool. I'd like to see Blue on white or white on blue with lettering though.

Here's an article on BF Goodrich tires on the cobra concept car from last year. Had the lettering facing out.
