Tire Size-- does the speedo read F or R?

So I'm shopping tire sizes to fit the 18" chrome bullits I just got, and I'm thinking of larger than oem diameter for the rear...

So the question is, if my front tires are close to oem diameter and my rears are a larger diameter, which does the speedo measure rotation on to get speed? anyone?

Speedo goes by driveline, which is rear tires.

correct rear tires. You can adjust with your tuner.
