Check out Cervini's website they were way quick to make a hood that looks just like the Shelby GT500 KR. To bad they don't have any hoods for the GT500 front fascia.
Can ya post a pic? Unfortunately I'm running WinVista and I'm getting "There is a problem with this website's security certificate." There is no option to ignore the warning and I cant locate a workaround anywhere on the net. Adding it to my trusted sites didnt work.
(I just love that microsoft is now deciding what sites I can visit and which ones I cant - Vista sucks.)

. If someone could post a photo it would be greatly appreciated
$559. I think that those scoops are almost identical to those on the KR hood.
wow! its finally released !
it looks very close to KR except the KR has the front vents closer to the edge of the hood giving it a slight more aggressive look...
but this is a decent price point i must say....i guess a poor man's KR conversion. this hood with a CS front would come in around $1000 total...
vs. GT500 fascia at $1600 and the real KR hood would probably be around $1000.....$2600 range....

I think that the only difference in the two is the fact that the KR is made for a Shelby and doesn't hang out as far as a GT hood does.
hi 2006GT
great comparison and observation!
cervini hood is very close to the KR.
the GT500 facsia KR hood looks more aggressive because the grill mouth is oval and bigger
but the cervini option is pretty good!
thanks again!

I believe it says you buy the kit for it like the others. So you will have to do some more work to make it functional, i.e. installing they ram air box/kit. Which no one on here has done yet it seems. So not sure whats involved yet.

I saw this a while back and posted questions about it as well. To me the proportions are just not spot on and seems a little to boxy looking (for lack of a better description). Hood line doesn't flow into the leading edg of the hood right. I ended up going with Cervini's Ram Air hood because nothing else available at the time on the market. Although it is tough to tell how this hood really looks from 2 pics.
I think the KR slants more because of the lines of the Shelby front fascia. Just what I think. Hey Boltzman is that the Cervini's hood that's unpainted or which one?
I think the actual hood shape is different on the Shelby one
