Those who have done the GT500 conversion

As I wait for my parts to get painted I decided to do a little studying for when D-day arrives. Anyway, I was looking at the two Ford wiring pigtail kits that I have for the fog light conversion. I noticed that both wires on the pigtail are black (no stripes). How did you figure out which wire to splice together? Oh and I'm probably going to use the Street scenes wiring harness (that I have already) to splice the pigtail connector into.

Forgive my complete lack of knowledge, I'm in uncharted territory but as always, willing to learn.
Thanks guys
Mark

Thanks. Let me know how it goes. Right now I'm getting the "problem areas" (for me) figured out before I get to the actual install. I've done a search here and I found where some people had used the GT500 harness and others spliced into the GT wiring. Now I just need directions as to how to do it.

Looks like I'm going to suffer a little setback. Today the dealer told me that the rear bumper I ordered was actually a front bumper labeled as a rear bumper I guess it will give me a little more time to research this fog light issue at any rate.

How much does the GT500 hood with paint cost. I am selling my hood off of my GT500 and am curious as to what it runs.

It depends on who you purchase it through. The OEM GT500 hood was around $800+. The same hood as an FRPP part was almost half that price where I got it from. My paint quote was for the hood, front facia, and rear bumper cover..$1100.
