Those with a Saleen Aluminum hood...HELP

Could use some help here. My Saleen ALUMINUM hood arrived last week it has three dents, 2 are very small. It also has a sunken in section, in the middle up near the cowl. I don't know how it will look after paint, but with the black that it comes on it, it is quite obvious. Also has a kink in the aluminum, drivers side louver area. I have been trying to contact both the salesmen I dealt with for over a week now, 6 unanswered phone calls.
Has anyone else had this problem with the hood?
It is in the body shop right now, I have been trying to find out from Saleen if the kink and the dip were normal. If it is not normal to this hood I will tell the body shop to stop work on it and get Saleen to take it back....I will say though, the hood fit like a glove!!! Very happy about that anyway.
I got a great deal on this hood because I had a problem with Saleen 2 years ago, and after they settled it with me, they told me if I ever wanted to puchase more Saleen items in the futuure, they would look out for me and give me a great deal...They did give me a greeat deal, but I am starting to think the sold me a rejected hood. I have even expressed my concerns in the voice messages to Saleen, still no answer.
Any help would be appreciated

Hey Boltz
Tell me about it
Finally one of the salesman talked to me , but it wasn't the one who actuallty sold me the hood. He told me the guy was working on getting me another hood, put two more calls into that salesman, and still no return call...meanwhile, the Saleen hood I recieved is being worked on and I keep telling them that in my voicemail messages, Gee, I wonder who is going to end up paying for this???????????????
Looks like I might have another fight on my hands

I guess their are no Saleen guys out there that can tell me how this hood should be!

No, it's not normal for it to be dented. Come on, how many Saleens with dented hoods do you see? Maybe they gave you a bad one, or maybe it was damaged during shipping, hard to say.

But if it was me, I absolutely wouldn't let anybody do any body work at all to it if it's possibly going back. That sort of thing could be the cause of a major argument, because almost nobody will take something back that's been painted or altered in any way.

Glad to hear you got it sorted out, however, all I ever hear about Saleen is how poor their customer service is. Basically takes them forever to deal with customer complaints.

What you have heard and say is 100% correct.
I talked with them yesterday and he thinks it might go out next week. They are now working on new shipping packing proceedure..they told me I am not the first to have been shipped a messsed up hood. I actually sent them pics of the what Trufiber packaqhges their hood for shipping looks like!
I will be the first to get the hood with the new packing.
So now my car is down due to no hood since I sold mine, and now stuck in the waiting game!!!

Well it turns out I will now most probably am keeping the damaged hood, I already have the new one on mycar.
They never picked it up as they said they would, I offered them a deal to kill the new bill and I would keep the hood and they wont have to pay for the time initially spent by the body shop as promised, or the shipping to take it back. They left me a message saying they wanted to do it, so now it is telephone tag again.
I am either going to make a one off out of it ( close up the squiter holes, and either raise the center section about an inch, or mount a shelby GT scoop on it and make it functional.
I am thrilled I went with this hood, I would never ever go with fiberglass again.
The fit is 100% PERFECT, and absolutely NO hood rise at high speeds!!!
