Thumbs up

Is there a problem with molding in a fiberglass Roush hood scoop into our aluminum hood with bondo? I am going to have it done on my gt and have the vinyl stripe replaced with paint.....any problems you can see? I want to make the hood scoop look like it is part of the hood and be a one piece unit. Thanks.

I was talking to my body shop regarding molding in the CDC ductail. They suggested against it because the trunk is metal and the ductail is eurathane. Sort of in the case with what you want to do. They said that since the 2 will expand and contract at different temps, regardless of what you use as a filler, after a while it would crack.

yes, adrenalin is correct, mixing and matching two different types of materials is not the way to go,
been reading the tungsten great color dispute on this site latley?
Either paint that thing and bolt it on, or go for a shaker like adrenalins or custom fab a scoop from aluminum.
Best to have a custom shop to try and mount the scoop.
You get what u pay for in bodywork and painting $$$$$$
