OK.here we go. I recieved my chin spoiler on Fri and did the install on Sunday. A few things first. 1. Thank you Banana-Baby.
2. The chin spoiner is fiberglass. The quality is first rate. The black gel coat or paint (not sure which ) is very good. I like the thickness. The only thing i think could be better is the lack of paint or finish on the very bottom. (only dead road kill and I care about this).
3. The look is just what i was after. I wanted to fill the empty hole that ford left in the front. The install was basic. I did it during half time (Bucs vs. Buffilo). This is what i used.

I jacked up the front and used jackstands.
I used two clamps to hold the chin spoier in place. One at each end. I used a large welding clamp in the middle to pull the middle up tight. Adjusted to where i wanted it and started drilling. I used a
quarter inch bit. Then used the bolts that were shipped with the spoiler and attached. Not sure if they were stainless but i will repace this week with stainless. This brings me to one of my only complaints. No directions were included with the chin spoiler. Not a big deal anyone could install this thing, but.... I had a 5 inch piece of steel which i am not sure wihat it is for. Ok its installed and i really like the way it looks.

Well now for my opinion. I really like the product. Quality is first rate. Fit is good. Finish is great. I think Team Shinoda builds a good product. I think that they need some improvement in there customer relations and support. Jim hire some help!!! Directions are a must. Now lets take it for a drive and see how much it hits.......

the piece of steel is to brace the chin spoiler in the center. The spoiler is a functional spoiler and without the brace, the spoiler can be ripped out of your bumber at high speeds. And you r welcome.

I questioned Jim about the instructions on how to install the chin spoiler. Jim thought the instructions were on the web site. The web site is new and this part might not have been put on the site yet.Jim said he will check on it and he will also include instructions on future shipments.

SRQ05GT, that black bar is an easy install, however you'll have to drill one hole in it. I you look on the bottom side of your bumper cover you see two small bolts. You should've seen them when you installed your spoiler. Those bolts come out, and you bolt the black bar back on with them in that same spot. Then, the hole you drill to mount the center of the spoiler is supposed to go through that black bar. You can it in this picture Jim sent me. He sent a whole install web page (after I called and asked for it), but it didn't work very well, and I had to re-write his html to make it work ok. Hopefully they'll get the website up for future installers though.

Well that was fun. Might have been easier with the car up on jacks. put the bar on the back side to keep it out of sight. Replaced all of the nuts and bolt with stainless. Seems to tighting up the front end. Finished. Time for Monday Night football....

So did you slide it between the painted outter skin and the screw holes? Any chance on getting a picture? I'd kind of like to get mine out of view too, if possible, but I don't have quick access to the garage to mess around with it.

What i did was remove the tin screws and take out the little metal clips "inside" that act as bolts. I took the metal bar and put it "inside" and used two quarter inch bolts from the "outside" to hold it in place. I marked it where the center bolt that passes through the chin spoiler. Took it all off and drilled a quarter inch hole. Put everything back together and its done. I replaced all of the nuts and bolts supplied by Team Shinoda with stainless. Puting the bracket "inside" (the inside part of the facia) gives it a clean install look. Seems to be sturcturaly strong. I am not sure how to added picks to the web site but i did a post on the All Ford Mustang web site also. I have not taken pics after making this change though.

Cool, I think I'll give that a try. I need to get longer bolts still, so I think I'll pick up stainless also.
