Tail Light Bezels

I agree with the classic look of chrome on black. I used a decal blackout found on Ebay and will NOT recommend it. Fit like crap and while it does the job, it caused a flurry of four letter words and made me mad enough I threw my beer out into the street. I even had to cut it to make it lay flat.
I highly recommend ANY OTHER method.
The more I look at it, I think it would be as easy to simply tape off lenses and shoot paint on them.
Has anybody tried that yet?

I currently have the Xenon Mods rear panel. I have simply added some 3M stripping between the tail lights on the vertical divider around the center light of each lens. It was a $2 mod, has been on for 20+ car washes, gives a subtle separation of the tail lights, and is easily removed if desired. The molding is a rounded rubber style (looks plastic) with a hollow core. It has adhesive backed surface and installs in seconds.

Just got finished with painting my tail light border. Wow, I mean cheap mod but alittle time consuming. Like an hour or so worth of just masking... Hah

Not the best shot (keep forgetting to take new ones) but here is mine with the SHR panel and the Moss slotted covers that I sanded down and painted with auto trim black paint.
Might consider getting those new thin moss bezels in black though, I like the current look but I think the thinner ones may look less busy.
