The FRPP SVT GT500 wheels come in two flavors - plain and black trim around the openings. I'm going to try to get a set of takeoffs but I'm guessing they are plain. Any problem with just masking and painting the edges around the openings?

 

Use that blue painters tape.If your really into details go to a body supply shop.There they sell painter blue tape in 1/8" size which is really easy to work with in tight spots and easy to maneuver.Then use the 1/2" tape around the wider spots cutting the excess off the edges with an exacto razor blade.Scuff the area to be painted with a brown (3-M)scotch bright pad(supply shop materials).Just make sure you wipe the dust off your wheels before painting.Post pics when your finished.

 

Just ordered the wheels today, so it may take a week or two before I get them.
