I was wondering if anybody on here has either gotten a custom sunroof installed on their 05 or has seen one with one installed. I had to have the coupe because of the fastback roofline, but I do like the open air feel of the vert. So I was just wondering if anyone has looked into this. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the info, sorry I didn't find the pre-existing post. But also I was wondering if anyone on here has had a sun/moonroof put on theirs so I could see some actual photos.

oh man, those look sweet....do you still have to worry about leakage? I remember my parents had a sunroof put into their ford bronco, and it always leaked. Do you need to worry about that anymore, or is it just thinking about someone drilling a hole in the top of your car??

No the sunroofs put in these days, have better seals etc. So many dealers use them in your area. They just sell it as an option and they have it put in. Like I said in the other posting. I had one in my last gran prix and it was awesome, looked just like factory set up. Good luck. I think when I talked to the webasto dealer here in st. louis they said they were about 800-900 bucks for the 05 model.

IMO, of course, do whatever floats your boat with your ride!

I am picking up my car today. I checked with my local dealer and they have some really nice low profile ones. Lifetime guarantee on theirs too.
