Stripes/Chin Spoiler Opinions Please

I really like the look and functionality of this chin spoiler...how would it look with stripes all the way down the front? I would photoshop is I knew how. I really respect the opinions of this forum....it's sort of a checks and balance thing for me.

Thanks

I may try and install the stripes on it this week as I have the material already. If I get a chance, I will post some pics.

I have been considering the same thing. I plan on getting a Shaker Hood Scoop next and I think a black Chin Spoiler may go good with it.

I debated the same thing when I put the CDC Classic on my car. I ended up striping it and I'm glad I did. I think it will look great.

I'm answering my own quote....
Another opinion please..... should I just forgo the spoiler painted tungsten with stripes all the way down or just go black and stripe like this pic? I'm not sure how that will look on tungsten. I'm leaning towards black as I can always paint it tungsten later and I currently have no stripes on my car. I also have the honeycomb rear insert coming so I thought a black spoiler may balance out the front and back of the car. Thoughts???

The black striping will add dimension to the look of the Tungsten. Run them all the way to the ground, front and back. Makes them look like a Track Car.

Here's a quickie Photoshop (stripes aren't quite straight), but it gives you an idea.

With respects to those who did run it down over the front spoiler, I decided not to. Kind of for the same reasons I did not paint my spoiler to match. I was worried about rock chips and dings. Since I had a black car to start with, it worked. Seeing the others who have painted theirs, I do like them. I guess I depends on your base color choice.

Darn it, now you are making me want to do this sooner!

It is my intention to finish up the stripes next tuesday when I get back from RTP in NC. Going down there for my 2nd attempt at CCIE. If it wasn't for that test, the stripes would be on!

Thanks very much for the photochop. I think I'll go the stripes route afterall.

Fryguy I'm looking forward to seeing your finished stripe job.
