Antigini, do you still have the stock side GT/CS side stripe?

 

Where are you guys viewing the purple stripes????

I'm not sure I'm really feeling it....I was thinking about a different color purple for my White GT/CS when it comes in.....

 

Yup, I still have the stock side stripes! As soon as the guy who did my stripes gets a digital printer, i'm going to have him do the side stripes in matching purple.

If I had a white GT/CS, I wouldn't go purple, or any other non-black color unless I could do the door stripes in matching color as well. The pros/cons to the black GT/CS is you can't see the stripe very well, so it allows you to work with color a bit more. I love the way white CS's look with black stripes. If you still are considering purple, look into a darker shade than mine. In my opinion, unless you're wanting the car to get darker as a whole, you need to go with a lighter option. If you have a light car, go darker. It helps to make it "pop" better. Had I gone darker, you wouldn't have been able to see it quite so well and the point was to make the car pop, and show a bit of my personality.

Yes, I agree with you on the side stripe. If I can't get a custom color GT/CS mid-door stripe to match the rallye stripes I'll just go with black rallye stripes.

 

Does anyone have a picture of a stripe on a VERT (hood & trunk area only) or is that a no no as stripes are only for coupe's ?

 

You can put strips on a Vert. Ford offers hood and trunk only strips as a factory option on Verts.

 

Hey this is not my stang but some pictures of a vert I liked that helped convince me to put stipes on my coupe. Hope they help.

Yes they are and I changed what Ford did to the 07 black GT/CS's here is what I did to mine, not paint, but decals. Some of you may already know this one from another forum.

 

I plan on doing the same to my side stripes, but I want mine to fade like the stock CS vinyl fades. I think its a nice look. Since the guy who did my stripes now has a digital printer, I can do that. And yes, they will be in matching purple. =D

 

I ordered a Vista Blue 2008 gt/cs on Sept. 7, 2007. The GT/CS side stripe, which comes only in black, does not show up very well against the blue color background of the car. I drove the one on the Ford dealer lot with dove inserts, then ordered mine with parchment. Does anyone reproduce a different color than black for the gt/cs fade away side stripe ?

 

I have a white GT/CS on order and am thinking about changing the mid-door stripe color as well and this is the only company that I found that can accurately reproduce the graphic, so far. If there are others, I'd really like to know about it..... Hope this helps.

Thanks for info on the GT/CS side stripes. I am going to check with a company in Baltimore, baltimorestreetmods.com they offer many different stripe kits.

 

I've been to the BSM website and did not see any of the GT/CS faded stripes, but I have not called them. If they can do this type of graphic, please let me know.

 

I am liking the purple stripes too I wonder how they will look on an Alloy
