Need some help,,,
Need to get the windshield squirters off the hood and the GT round emblem off the trunk.
Have not tried to remove either one yet, but would like to know going in how to get them off.
Any help greatly appreciated,
Thanks,
Ron

I haven't looked at either of those, but I bet that the squirters are the snap on type...you have to use a small screwdriver from underneath to get them off. For the rear emblem...I believe it is bolted on...not glued...open the trunk and look at it from the back...it should have bolts or nuts...

Installing Replacement Squirter Nozzles:
A) Raise hood, remove under hood blanket and set aside. Use a fork tool to remove pushpin
fasteners.
B) Remove squirter hoses from the squirter nozzles.
C) Remove fasteners that attach the hose to the hood with a fork tool. Cut the tape from the T
shaped fastener with a razor blade and set aside for reuse.
D) Separate the squirter hose at the tee fitting and set aside.

The rear emblem is just glued on.

Heat up the faux gas cap with a hair dryer or heat gun and then use a piece of monofilliment (fishing line) to CAREFULLY saw through the adhesive.

Thanks to ALL of you for your help.
The guy doing the stripes stopped at the faux emblem cause he couldn't get it off. Couldn't figure out the squiters either, so I will remove them, or at least make it easier for him.
This is what I like about this site, a dummy like me can get the answers he needs !!
Thanks again,
Ron

Squirters off,
Faux gas cap did come off,, BUT,, I used too much heat on it, crinkled the chrome tape around to sides, guess I will get a new one,,,
Oh, yes, is just glued on.
Edit: Thought I saw faux on eBay, but can't find one, back to the dealer.
