Okay, picture ***** warning!
The stripes are on, only took about 1 1/2 hours once he got started, much of that time spent on the computer laying out the design.
I went in at 8:30 am ready to have them put on, but once he saw what I had in mind, we had to stop.
He needed his 24" vinyl, and he didn't have enough on hand to do the job.
Fortunately, he had already reordered, and more was due in the afternoon.
So I went back at 1pm, and by 2:30 it was done.
I'm very, very happy.
After looking at it I'm thinking about black rocker panel stripes.
He said he can scan any image in, so the running pony will probably be my choice.
.......unless I go off the deep end and get the Seahawks logo in the stripe.

I like it, you only do the hood?

 

Yeah, hood only.
I have a blackout panel on the back, deleting the fake gascap which I like.
I think stripes front to back wouldn't look right with that panel, it would break up the lines.
If I did decide to stripe the whole car, I would definitely go with a narrower stripe, or a large one down the middle, with pinstripes on either side.
But, since I did only the hood, I chose the big bold wide stripe.

 

Looks awesome! It goes along with the color of the car perfectly.

I like it You may want to just consider getting black V6 rocker panels themselves instead of the stripes

 

why v6?

 

they are matte black from the factory, also used on the GT500

 

Nice. Looks good. I've been thinking about the same thing on my W.B. Thanks for posting the pics. I also have a blackout panel on the trunk and would only do the hood.
